Ideation and Prototyping: Merging Creativity and Technology

Once the groundwork is complete, it’s time for ideation. This is where I use the information at hand to propose solutions, structure the information intuitively, and prototype designs. Tools like Figma and Adobe XD are integral in this process. I ensure that the design is consistent with the brand identity, and then conduct usability tests to collect valuable feedback. This feedback is pivotal for refining the design before it moves into the hands of developers.

Prototyping with Figma: Collaborative Design

My go-to tool for prototyping is Figma. It promotes collaborative design, allowing for an inclusive design process. My typical workflow involves sketching ideas, creating low-fidelity wireframes to focus on information architecture, and then crafting interactive prototypes for collecting feedback.

Accessibility: An Inclusive Design Approach

Inclusivity and accessibility are paramount in my design approach. I rigorously follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and prioritize the diverse needs of users from the very start. My design decisions account for color contrast, typography legibility, keyboard navigation, alternative text for images, and user testing with individuals with disabilities.
